This photograph of the Choir was taken exactly 60 years (1955) ago when they competed at Llangollen International Eisteddfod. They compete again this year for the first time since then.
The winning choir in the male voice section that year was from Modena, Italy and included a young Luciano Pavarotti and his father.
The great tenor returned in 1995 for a spectacular concert.
All competing choirs strive to be crowned Choir of the World and carry off the Pavarotti Trophy.
