Chester Male Voice Choir: 80th Anniversary 1941 - 2021

Successful Tour to Cardiff

Successful Tour to Cardiff

Over a long weekend from 13-16th May the choir visited Cardiff. On the way down we sang for an appreciative audience in Brecon Cathedral. What an acoustic there was, the sound we made was superb, It was really enjoyable and a priviledge to sing there. Friday night saw some of us having a good old sing in Wetherspoons pub. On Saturday night we enjoyed a joint concert with Beaufort Male Choir in Ebbw Vale. Following a visit on Sunday to St Fagans National Museum - a most interesting, must see and free attraction we sang in our Hotel, The Angel in Cardiff for the guests and staff. We were grateful to Lance Howie, our Deputy MD, whilst Rod Jones was recovering from illness. Thanks also to Ron Webster for organising it all. Where will we go next? watch this space!
