Trees of Light Service
6 December 2019 - Countess of Chester Hospital
We are again supporting this service of remembrance at the Countess hospital. It takes place outside the main entrance and is always a memorable event. Also contributing musical items along with ourselves this year are the Chester Wind Band and The NHS Countess Choir. The Dean of Chester is the Special Guest,
The Santa Dash

A repeat of last year's entertainment of runners and spectators at the Hospice Charity Santa Dash. We'll be outside the Grosvenor hotel singing Christmas songs and Carols. Come and join the fun and give generously to a good local cause
Hoole Christmas Lights Switch On
23 November 2019 - Faulkner Street Hoole
We're taking part in this annual spectacular in our home area of Hoole - we rehearse twice weekly at Hoole Methodist Church Hall.
Come along and meet us and see the fabulous show with many more artistes on show from 6pm when the lights are switched on. Its FREE of course
Charity Performances
16 November 2019 - Styal Cheshire
We are delighted to have been invited again to sing at a fundraising event for the Clink Restaurants Charity at Styal Prison. The Charity works to train inmates in hospitality and help them gain related work on leaving prison. They boast a 45% reduction in re-offending rate for those who pass through the system.
North Wales Choral Festival Competition

We are returning to this prestigious event again this year to participate in the Male Voice Choir competition. Can we improve on our third place in 2017 having won back in 2013?
2 November 2019 - Hoole Methodist Church, Hamilton Street, Hoole Chester
This is our annual concert in support of the Church at which we rehearse. We will have with us this year the visiting Beaufort Male Voice Choir from Ebbw Vale South Wales. Rhys Meirion was born in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd in Wales. He is a Welsh opera and classical singer. He worked as a primary school headteacher at Ysgol Pentrecelyn near Ruthin, before leaving in 1997 to study opera at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He is one of The Three Welsh Tenors/Tri Tenor Cymru. His album with Bryn Terfel, 'Benedictus', was nominated for a Classical Brit Award in 2006. He has sung the part of Rodolfo with Frankfurt Opera, West Australian Opera and at Opera Australia, and the title role in Gounod's Faust at the Hong Kong Opera Society.

Summer Series Concert Performance

We've been invited to sing at the Church's regular Thursday Summertime concerts this year. We do enjoy great audiences in Llandudno not least because they are predominantly holiday makers out for a good time. Not too far to travel from Chester and North Wales if you're a big fan of CCMVC!

We are hosting the touring Orange Community Master Chorale and Master Chorale of Saddleback Valley from California USA, a 60 strong mixed choir in a joint concert at one of our favourite venues.
The concert will start at 7.30 pm and there will be an interval bar available.
